November 26, 2001 — Bellevue, WA — ITTIA and Tokyo-based NEAT Corporation today announced a partnership in which NEAT will promote and sell ITTIA's Ittialogy product line in Japan. NEAT's focus on distributing hardware and real-time Linux software for industrial computing provides an "excellent fit" for Ittialogy's core products, the DBMSi Linux database and the XMLi integration solution, according to ITTIA President and CEO Sasan Montaseri.

Japanese companies are adopting Linux for new industrial systems because of its economy, robustness, rich tool set and available source code, Mr. Nomoto said. ITTIA's DBMSi Linux database builds on proven open source software components to provide uniquely open and flexible embedded data management.
